Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

This Friday, March 2, is Dr. Seuss' birthday! Dr. Seuss' birthday is celebrated in classrooms across the U.S. Since I'm part of the teaching world, I thought I'd share some fun ideas for celebrating that you can do at home!

Of course you'll need to start your day off right with a healthy dose of a Seussified breakfast. A green eggs omelet and some Cat in the Hat inspired pancakes! I have a feeling that Charlie may be eating a similar breakfast on Friday morning!

Why not stop in at the movie theater and celebrate with a Dr. Seuss movie? The Lorax will be opening on March 2.

How about an adorable bookmark for all the Dr. Suess books you've been reading? (Click the link to download.)
Here's a simple and fun Dr. Seuss inspired snack. All you'll need is some blue jello and some Swedish Fish!

And what's a birthday without some cupcakes??

Throughout his books he offered words of wisdom.
